Heavy Duty Hood - Triple Straps

I recently bought this rather costly hood. And, WOW, is it incredible. The fit is excellent. The chin and nose areas fit will for me. The buckles are not locking, but as it restricts breathing a little, that's likely a safety choice.

I originally ordered the large found I had to lace it edge to edge and it still wasn't really tight. The team at Mr S were excellent. I arranged a return and ordered another.

My only complaint is that the straps are a little short. I am 23.5 across the crown, and in the middle of the M and L fit size. The medium fits best, but the straps are only allowing me to get 1-2 holes in some locations.

Long ago I bought the earlier version of this device which is still awesome. This update provides better use of the straps to secure it on the head. The padding around eyes, ears and mouth prevents almost all sensory stimulation in put from incoming. Add on earbuds set on variable volume with any type of sound either hypo or disturbing noise and the isolation is increased to a true mindfuck. I did modify the mouth strap to tighten it for more breath control restriction options, I find the tighter the better. Locking puts the reality of control center in my mind either as Top or bottom. Subs tend to show signs of needing this kind of control when any doubt comes up about their desire to truly please the Top. The sub becomes quite obedient and further breath control with a gloved hand reinforces submission and desire to please by accepting more pain or edging. Adding this to sleep sack or straight jacket bondage is an excellent way to store the sub for on overnight...or longer.

The craftsmanship that went into designing and constructing this hood is exceptional. I bought it off the shelf but it fits as if it was custom-tailored to fit my exact skull.

From the moment it first goes on, it's clear that this is a no-nonsense hood; even when merely draped loosely in place, it already restricts breathing a bit and blocks almost all light. Once the laces start to tighten, the squeeze builds and builds and builds, but the masterful design ensures that it presses evenly all around. There are no uncomfortable pressure points, no gaps. A perfect fit all around.

Finally, when all the laces and zips and straps are tied and locked and buckled, it feels as if the universe has shrunk to the size of a soccer ball and I'm trapped inside. Breathing is restricted but still comfortable even with the mouth hole plugged. No light. Muffled sound (combine with earplugs for even deeper silence). Scent of leather with every breath.

The one thing I would change is the shape of the eye strap. It can press uncomfortably on the eyeballs; potentially dangerous. Cup-shaped eye covers might be better. I work around the issue by sliding the mask higher so it presses on the eyebrows instead of the lids. Aside from that, I wouldn't change a thing.

Isolation bliss.

I have purchased a number of great products from Mr S, but this is my absolute favorite. Have had it for over a year. Fantastic quality, comfort, and security. I don't regret spending the money on it for one second.

What an incredible product! The leather is incredible. The smell is the sign of authenticity. This is worth every penny! Very secure. This hood is the real deal!

This is definitely one of those investment pieces for your leather collection but its worth every penny. Solidly built to last and the triple straps really put you deep into that sub zone quickly. D rings are positioned well and come in handy when you want to further immobilize the head.

For those of you who want good air flow/are worried about the small nose and mouth openings I'd recommend getting the 1/4 inch mouth opening and pairing it with a tube gag.

Is it possible to get a version of this hood without the lacing in the back? -- Yes, we could do a zipper instead of the lacing. The lacing helps make sure you get a good fit over different sized/shaped heads, but doing a zipper is totally fine. We just need a few head measurements to make sure the hood will fit.
